As usual, I'm not really seeing any good message from the trump clan here.
It's got to be one of a couple things, right? 1) This guy was a journalist who wrote about terrorists, so it's okay he was brutally murdered. 2) This guy was only a resident in the US, not a US citizen, so he doesn't deserve to live. That's pretty much it. No matter how you slice it, that's bad. Very bad. Especially if you disagree with trump's self-enriching schemes, his chaotic politics, or his preaching of hate and division. What's to stop trump from doing the same thing to any of us the next time we step into an official governmental office? Even people who support trump now might fall on his bad side...and then...well... We can probably all agree that this would seem to be a losing position. It makes trump and his clan sound every kind of bad you can imagine. Why would they go down this route? As usual, let's follow the money. trump has claimed that he's done a deal with the Saudi's worth $100 billion to the US economy. From trump's previous behaviour, I'd be *stunned* if a significant portion of that weren't going into his pockets. Still, let's say trump doesn't earn a penny out of the deal. He's going to have a long list of people who want to be his friends to get a slice of that pie. A deal like this will reap massive power and influence for trump. He certainly doesn't care about something as inconsequential as a life, especially if his power and/or wealth is at stake. These aren't the people I want representing me or our country. It's not okay to murder people, whether they're journalists, whether they're Americans or not, or whether you agree with them. Murder is flat wrong. If you're not willing to speak out against murder, you're speaking out for murder. If that's too difficult a concept for trump, then *trump* should be punished.
