Make up your mind already!

It's Wednesday, and the saga of Trump's tweets about wiretapping continue to roll on.

Does Trump have any evidence for the outrageous claim he made on Saturday?

At this point, it seems fair to say that he does not.  So...what do you do when you don't have the thing you claim to have had?

You pivot.

You say that the President (although he's at odds with intelligence services) has access to documents that normal people shouldn't be able to see...and from an excess of nobility isn't going to share those with Congress, but would rather Congress investigate to determine if something exists there.  

You can almost hear the patronising "you'll feel so much better when you come to the conclusion on your own" after that.

I will agree with Trump on one thing: it's high time an investigation is launched.  Let's dig it all up...the wiretaps, money laundering, election peddling, conflicts of interest, lies, Russians...

Oh yes, Mr. President...let's have that investigation after all.
